IMSB Meets in Planet Pluto for 2018 Plan

The Indnan Municipal School Board met in Planet Pluto Restaurant, Serantes Street, Jolo, Sulu last March 9, 2018 at 2:00 PM. The meeting was attended by both representatives from Indanan North and Indanan South District. The Alter Ego of the Indanan Municipal Mayor, Hji. Iriles N. Ladjabassal presided the meeting. The members who were in attendance are as follows:

Supersam escorted by Cmdr. H-man, his District Liaison Officer paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the Municipal Mayor, Hji. Hermot "Moy" D. Jikiri at Pasil, Indanan, Sulu last November 23, 2017. A formal dialogue took place on the stage of the basketball court where Moy supervised the game participated by the different barangay basketball players.

Guidelines on the Use of SEF: DO No. 10 s. 2017

National DepED Secretary, Leonor "Liling" Magtolis Briones signed DepED Ordern No. 10 on March 3, 2017. This DepED Order states the revised guidelines on the use of the Special Education Fund (SEF).

About Local School Boards: RA 7160

The creation of Indanan Municipal School Board is based on the Local Code of the Republic of the Philippines known as Republic Act 7160.Thus, there is no expansion of membership and its program of implementation.

Mayor Moy: Sports and education are wonderful diversion

Last Thursday, November 23, 2017, Supersam with his District Liaison Officer, Cmdr. H-man visited Pasil Elementary School where Indanan Municipal Office also located in the same campus purposely to spend networking task with Hon. Mayor, Hji. Hermot "Moy" D. Jikiri who launched Basketball League Competition among team coming from the different barangays of his municipality and neighboring municipality like Parang.

"Sports and education are wonderful diversion" said Moy.

In the Opening Program of ISD Meet 2017

On October 10, 2017, Pasil Elementary School Stage, Hon. Mayor with his Admin, councilors and other municipal officials attended the opening program of Joint Indanan NHS Palaro & Indanan South District Meet 2017.

Issues and Concern Discussion with Mayor Moy

A day before the ISD Meet 2017, Supersam and his school sports officials visited the venue at Pasil Elementary School Campus purposely to monitor the layout of the ground. Afterwards, he decided to to proceed to the Mayor's Office to update him on the conduct of the District Meet 2017.

IMSB Meeting in September, 2017

Last September 16, 2017 at Indanan North District Office, IMSB met and discussed some issues and concerns on the forthcoming conduct of district meet of both districts. The decisions made in the meeting were as follows:

P 10, 000 Financial Assistance from IMSB to Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi ES

Last June 21, 2017 at Indanan South District Office, Supersam turned-over P 10, 000.00 financial assistance to Nagdar U. Sasapan, TIC of Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi Elementary School and Annex for the school renovation of Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi Elementary School.

Prof. Albert M. Santoli with Jikiri

On Septermber 6, 2016, Prof. Albert M. Santoli paid an official visit to Hon. Mayor, Hji. Hermot "Moy" D. Jikiri. Along with his visit were the Indanan South District teachers and school officials and members of the parent-teachers association.

Sir Sam Joins MBOC to Proclaim Newly-eclected Local Officials of Indanan Municipality

Samoore "Sir Sam" S. Ladjahali joined as DepED Member-Secretary of the Municipal Board of Canvassers in the Municipality of Indanan last conduct of Synchronized National, Regional and Local Elections, May 9, 2016. MBOC Chairman was Acting Election Officer (EO), Hja. Lilia A. Gaspar; Vice Chairman was Lorna L. Napigquit, Indanan Municipal Treasurer; CCS Operator was Nursalyn S. Muammail, Indanan North District ICT Coordinator; and the 4 RCG also composed the MBOC. Canvassing was done in the SB Hall, Pasil, Indanan, Sulu. The MBOC started to convene at around 3:00 in the afternoon of May 9, 2016.

Chief Jikiri: We Should Dialogue with Them for What They Gain from Us

Chief Jikiri is a popular alias of the well-known Chief of Staff of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) or former Sulu-1st District Representative, Hon. Hji. Yusop H. Jikiri who strongly agreed with the mind-set of the DIC on building more educational partnership with different sectors in quest for improved quality education in Indanan. 

Chief Jikiri said, "We should dialogue with them for what they gain from us."

Newly-constructed Office of IMSB

Office of the Indanan Municipal School Board was just newly-constructed in Pasil Elementary Shcool. It is with Imam Jikiri Social Hall and DRRM Office. As agreed, the meeting would be every third Thursday of the month.

Project on School Repair of IMSB

5% of the monthly allocation for school board should go to school repair as agreed in the board meeting. Pasil Elementary School headed by Faisal A. Kadil, EHST III was first to receive the program on school repair. The school head used the money for the canopy over the gate of the school.

Peace and Order Council Meeting

On September 11, 2014 at Indanan Municipal Hall, DIC Sam attended the meeting on peace and order council with his 2 district staff. The meeting was fully attended by 34 barangay chairmen and some other officials from line agencies.

Courtesy Visit to Hon. Mayor Eddih

On August 21, 2014, DIC Moore and his school officials visited  Hon. Mayor, Saripuddin "Eddih" D. Jikiri. The dialogue focused on strengthening of Physical Education and School Sports in the Municipality of Indanan thru the aid of Indanan Municipal School Board.

IMSB Gives Indanan Delegation Light in SPAAM 2013

It's just happened in the reign of Hon. Saripuddin "Eddih" D. Jikiri, the Municipal Mayor of Indanan, Sulu. Yes, Synergeia had been previously in the municipality to re-invent the local school board. It was just; however; a monthly meeting continued to gather both Indanan North and South District supervisors and some other selected school administrators. 

Indanan Municipal School Board Revitalization

During 15-day vacation in December, 2012, formalization of Indanan Municipal School Board began. It was made between both Indanan North and South school administrators with two representatives from the Municipal Government of Indanan and one officer of DILG in said municipality. In spite of two district heads that must be within the decision of the Schools Division Superintendent to select only one to act as co-chair of the mayor, delay on the final composition of the IMSB members existed until April, 2013. Glad tidings to both districts on the issue of IMSB echoed in both districts in April, 2013 when the Municipal Government of Indanan officially allocated the IMSB monthly appropriation of fifteen thousand pesos that shall be deposited in Islamic Amanah Bank, Jolo-Branch opened by Hji. Iriles N. Ladjabassal, Municipal Information Officer representing Municipal Mayor as signatory together with Samoore S. Ladjahali, Indanan South District In-Charge and Co-chair of the mayor in compliance with the decision of Sulu SDS, Dr. Tim U. Arbison.

P 20K from IMSB for the 1-Day Selection of Indanan North and Indanan South District

Indanan Municipal School Board Passbook is committed to counterpart P 20, 000.00 for both Indanan North and South District Meet 2013. So, each district will have P 10, 000.00 respectively.
