The Indnan Municipal School Board met in Planet Pluto Restaurant, Serantes Street, Jolo, Sulu last March 9, 2018 at 2:00 PM. The meeting was attended by both representatives from Indanan North and Indanan South District. The Alter Ego of the Indanan Municipal Mayor, Hji. Iriles N. Ladjabassal presided the meeting. The members who were in attendance are as follows:
- Samoore S. Ladjahali - PSDS of Indanan South District
- Hji. Iriles N. Ladjabassal - Municipal Information Officer
- Dr. Garcia B. Paradji - PSDS of Indanan South District
- Faisal A. Kadil - Head Teacher III of Pasil Elementary School
- Alnasvier I. Abduljali - TIC of Lugmah Elementary School
- Sir Bong - PESS Coordinator of Indanan North District
- Amiril Misuari - District ALS Coordinator of Indanan North District
- Jennasir Sali - Municipal HRMO
- Marjin "Cmdr. H-man" J. Madjirul - TIC of Panglima Misuari Elementary School
- Makmil Madjung - PTA President of Indanan North District
- Jainab A. Nuron - School Disbursing Officer of Panglima Misuari Elementary School
The Presiding Officer started the conference with a good news on the increase of monthly appropriation for IMSB.
"By the way beginning this February, 2018, the Mayor has already approved the increase of IMSB monthly allocation from P 15,000.00 to P 20,000.00" Mr. Iriles N. Ladjabassal reported.
The agenda of the Board were namely: 1. IMSB Plan for 2018; 2. Policy on Volunteer Teachers; 3. Programs and Projects Implementations; 4. Mode of School Request for Financial Assistance from the Municipal Government; and 5. Utilization of IMSB Funds in Accordance with RA 7160.
The Board agreed on the policy on the hiring of volunteer teachers that would depend on the needs of the school based on the number of enrollment and number of teachers. This policy would be applied on the 4 volunteer teachers subsidized by the IMSB. The Board would write the Principal of the secondary school for appearance before the Board with his official report on the number of enrolled students and nationally-funded teachers.
It was also agreed upon that every member of the board should review or read again the RA 7160 for better implementation of the IMSB appropriation.
It has become now the policy of the IMSB that all school solicitation letter for financial assistance addressed to Municipal Mayor shall be tackled by the IMSB provided it contains with official signatory, the school head and concerns with school improvement. Likewise, any request for financial assistance from DepED, IMSB would be responsible for it.
Every school would be encouraged to submit project proposal for implementation in the school.
The Board approved the request of Indanan North District Supervisor, Dr. Garcia B. Paradji for financial assistance amounting to P 15,000.00 for the construction of IND Office Garage.
